I was asked to create two caricatured spaceboys of two young boys. The parents had already painted the room themselves and used stickers for planets. It was my suggestion that the artwork which would be painted on to wood, could be cut to shape and block mounted in relief off their bedroom wall.  At a later date they could be removed, a new background scene could be painted, for example a giant moon with craters and some little green men, then the two spaceboys repositioned. Each caricature took one day to complete including character sketch, cutting out and painting. Both boys were…(forgive the pun)…over the moon.
